Greetings! I am very excited to be teaching at Dulles High School! This is my 4th year in Fort Bend ISD and 5th year teaching. I hail from up north, specifically New Jersey. I learned French the old-fashioned way, taking it in middle school, high school, and then majored in French and International Relations at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. I received my Masters degree in French from the University of Texas and moved to Houston, where I began my teaching career.
I love being able to share the French and Francophone cultures with students, broadening their horizons, and teaching them to think in a new way. As someone who struggled at first in French, I relate well to those who have a rough start. I enjoy working with these students on finding out how they learn best.
